About Wendy Miller
Wendy (Benner) Miller brings over three decades of business, construction, and executive leadership experience to the Cancer Champions Board of Directors. A UC Davis graduate in Managerial Economics, Wendy built her career in community and property management before becoming a nationally recognized expert in construction and construction defect. She currently serves as Vice President at TARC Construction and holds leadership roles across several industry organizations, including President of the CAI-Bay Cen Board of Directors, Vice President of Westcon Construction Consultants, and Advisory Board member for the Housing Industry Foundation.
Beyond her professional achievements, Wendy is a dedicated volunteer who has long supported causes close to her heart — including Yolo Crisis Nursery and Yolo County Suicide Prevention. Cancer Champions holds the deepest place among them. Wendy has been with the organization since its founding in 2015, making her one of Cancer Champions’ longest-standing supporters. Over the past decade, she has been an integral part of the Cancer Champions Walk-Run-Roll, the organization’s flagship annual event, showing up year after year to help make it a meaningful experience for participants, survivors, and caregivers alike. Her sustained commitment, from hands-on event volunteering to committee work to now serving on the Board of Directors, reflects a genuine belief in the mission of transforming the cancer journey through community, strength, and support.
